16. Bullmastiff

The Bullmastiff is a large and powerful breed of dog known for its imposing presence, loyalty, and protective instincts.
Originating in England, Bullmastiffs were originally bred as guardians of estates and gamekeepers’ companions, tasked with apprehending poachers without causing them harm.
While Bullmastiffs are known for their gentle nature, they are also highly protective of their loved ones and territory.
They are naturally wary of strangers and have a strong sense of loyalty, making them excellent guard dogs.
